Hello. I am wondering if it is possible to turn off the ability to hear others thoughts. I am not intentionally trying to hear other’s thoughts. I just can. I have been like this for years. Especially with the people closest to me.

Their thoughts sound like mine . For example a person may think about something they’re going to say prior to speaking and then they say it outloud. Then that confirms it isn’t my thought.

I would love to be able to turn this off.

I don’t know how this came about and I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you.

Learn to meditate properly, and you can silence not only your own mind, but be able to control what impressions enter your mind and how you react to them. Your mind will be so serene that even if you hear them they will not disturb your mind.
