Chapter 58

Jesus sendeth forth a light-power to help Sophia

And Jesus continued again in the discourse and said unto his disciples: “It came to pass then, when Pistis Sophia had said these words, that the time was fulfilled that she should be led out of the chaos. And of myself, without the First Mystery, I despatched out of myself a light-power, and I sent it down to the chaos, so that it might lead Pistis Sophia forth from the deep regions of the chaos, and lead [her] to the higher regions of the chaos, until the command should come from the First Mystery that she should be led entirely forth out of the chaos. And my light-power led Pistis Sophia up to the higher regions of the chaos. It came to pass then, when the emanations of Self-willed had noticed that Pistis Sophia was led forth into the higher regions of the chaos, that they also sped after her upwards, desiring to bring her again into the lower regions of the chaos. And my light-power, which I had sent to lead up Sophia out of the chaos, shone exceedingly. It came to pass then, when the emanations of Self-willed pursued Sophia, when she had been led into the higher regions of the chaos, that she again sang praises and cried out unto me, saying...”

It is obvious that when Pistis Sophia reaches the Thirteenth Aeon, she must depart from the Chaos.

Rare are the initiates who are capable of knocking on the Thirteenth Gate.

The first gate is in the hall of Malkuth and the last gate is in the hall of Ain.

There have been rare cases in which someone has knocked on the frightful and terrible gate of Ain Soph Aur, the Eleventh Gate.

Those who have knocked on the Eleventh Gate have come close to losing their life.

Many have perished at the Eleventh Gate. Very few are those who reach the Thirteenth Aeon.

High and low regions exist in the inferior Chaos or in the sexual Chaos.

Because the work is performed within the Chaos, there is the need to ascend.

We can only ascend with the help of the inner Christ and by means of the Light-Power.

The command of the First Mystery always arrives to the elevated regions of the Chaos. However, only with the help of the inner Christ and by means of intensive sexual work, is it possible to ascend to the elevated regions.

It is urgent and non-delayable to ascend to the elevated regions of the sexual Chaos, to refine the sexual impulse, to make the sacrament of the church of Rome more perfect.

The metaphysical copulation, the chemical coitus, becomes more refined with the help of the inner Christ.

The tenebrous elements attack, even reaching unto the Thirteenth Aeon. This is terrible.

Nevertheless, the inner Christ defeats the tenebrous ones and liberates Pistis Sophia.

The inner Christ is INRI, the devouring fire, the living fire.

Seven lights emerge from Christ.

It is written that seven lights emerge from one light and from each one of the seven, seven times seven.

There are forty-nine fires that are rooted in Christ.

The forty-nine fires burn within the universe and within the Human Being.

The forty-nine fires are the forty-nine autonomous and Self-independent parts of our own Being.

Our Being has forty-nine independent parts.

Our Being is a college with forty-nine children.

The fire is the most perfect and never adulterated reflection of the single flame. As in Heaven, so on Earth.

The fire originates life and death. The fire is the origin and the end of all things.

Only by means of the fire is it possible to disintegrate the red demons of Seth in order to liberate Pistis Sophia.

Sophia uttereth a song of praise

1. I will sing praises unto thee, O Light, for I desired to come unto thee. I will sing thee praises, O Light, for thou art my deliverer.

2. Leave me not in the chaos. Save me, O Light of the Height, for it is thou that I have praised.

3. Thou has sent me thy light through thyself and hast saved me. Thou hast let me to the higher regions of the chaos.

4. May the emanations of Self-willed which pursue me, sink down into the lower regions of the chaos, and let them not come to the higher regions to see me.

5. And may great darkness cover them and darker gloom come over them. And let them not see me in the light of thy power, which thou hast sent unto me to save me, so that they may not get dominion over me.

6. And let not their resolution which they have formed, to take away my power, take effect for them. And as they have spoken against me, to take from me my light, take rather from them theirs instead of mine.

7. And they have proposed to take away my whole light and have not been able to take it, for thy light-power was with me.

8. Because they have taken counsel without thy commandment, O Light, therefore have they not been able to take away my light.

9. Because I have had faith in the Light, I shall not be afraid; and the Light is my deliverer and I shall not fear.

“Now, therefore, let him whose power is exalted, speak the solution of the words which Pistis Sophia hath uttered.”

And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished speaking these words unto his disciples, that Salome came forward and said: “My Lord, my power constraineth me to speak the solution of the words which Pistis Sophia hath uttered. Thy power hath prophesied afore time through Solomon, saying...”

Christ, the Light, is the deliverer of Pistis Sophia.

The inner Christ can and must take the initiate out of the Chaos.

The intimate Lord can take us to the most elevated zones of the Chaos.

The emanations of the ego are sinking and disintegrating into the inferior Chaos.

The tenebrous ones must submerge themselves into the Abyss and Sophia must make herself invisible to them.

The tenebrous ones fight in order to make the initiate fall, in order to trap him, so that the liberation should not be permitted to him.

Christ can protect the Gnostic ascetic, if this is His will.

The tenebrous powers celebrate reunions in order to plan attacks against Pistis Sophia.

The Gnostic has faith in Christ, and He saves him.

Salome interpreteth the song of Sophia from the Odes of Solomon

1. I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, for thou art my God.

2. Abandon me not, O Lord, for thou art my hope.

3. Thou hast given me thy vindication for naught, and I am saved through thee.

4. Let them who pursue me, fall down and let them not see me.

5. May a smoke-cloud cover their eyes and an air-mist darken them, and let them not see the day, so that they may not seize me.

6. May their resolution be impotent, and may what they concoct come upon them.

7. They have devised a resolution, and it hath not taken effect for them.

8. And they are vanquished, although they be mighty, and what they have wickedly prepared is fallen upon them.

9. My hope is in the Lord, and I shall not be afraid, for thou art my God, my Saviour.

It came to pass then, when Salome had finished saying these words, that Jesus said unto her: “Well said, Salome: and finely. This is the solution of the Words which Pistis Sophia hath uttered.”

The force of gratitude causes the plant to germinate in the orchard of the Gnostic ascetic.

The force of gratitude causes the plant to bear fruit.

The force of cosmic gratitude makes universal life fertile.

In some way, we must express our gratitude to the Creator.

Our Innermost God deserves our eternal gratitude.

All our hope is concerned with the inner Christ.

The one who works on himself has hope in the inner Christ.

Only the inner Christ can give us revindication and save us.

Great is the work of the inner Christ, working in and within us, with immense sacrifice. This is the nature of the Salvatur Salvandus.

May the inhuman elements that we carry within and that pursue us as an evil shade fall down.

May the tenebrous elements submerge themselves within the darkness of the Abyss. These are our elements.

These are the living personifications of oneself.

May all the concoctions of those perverse ones who dwell within us fall upon them.

They are the red demons of Seth, the perverse ones and subjective parts of the abominable ego.

May all that which the red demons of Seth have wickedly prepared fall upon them.

Hope is in the inner Christ, in the martyr of Calvary, who must live the complete cosmic drama within the bodhisattva.

The cosmic drama is never exclusively historic. This drama is a palpitating actuality, and the inner Christ must live it within us, here and now.

The processes of the cosmic drama are written within the Four Gospels of the Lord.
